So the heat has started to settle in and it’s making us slower than ever, but the shows still keep coming! Pub Club Wednesdays at Hurricane Alley Pub continues to bring the underground to Cruces with DJ Spy coming in from El Paso and DJ Marcbaca from the Faceless crew warming up. There is also some upcoming news from the location, including more out of town headliners and even some weekend nights for Pub Club this summer! The spot is great and the sounds are top notch, we highly recommend supporting this – there’s nothing else like it in LC! More info here
Here is some big news for the area: the annual outdoor Tecnopal is back! This one is the second time around and looks bigger with alot of love and preparation going into it as always. The lineup is simply huge with local underground heads reppin’ and headliners including Manny Murillo and Charles Martino coming in from Atlanta and Chicago, respectively. June 4th is the date, make sure to save it and make your own prep for the desert excursion! We are super excited about this one and so should you be! Keep up to date here!
Umek is bringing his signature big room techno to El Paso along with fellow tech head Format:B on May 27th. We love when these big techno artists come through, it’s always a bangin’ good time! Both Format:B and Umek have some highly regarded releases and seriously these dude just dont stop, track after track new releases are always poppin up on familiar labels. More info here
Here is one to keep an eye on: Sander Kleinenberg & Desyn Masiello on Jun 2nd. The details are slim on this one but Desyn Masiello definitely puts on an amazing set if he comes through, and we recommend checking it out. More info here. Some other parties are Lazaro Casanova W/ Shlomi Aber // Ahmet Sendil W/ [a]pendics shuffle , which may have used to have been the Justin Long / Maetrik show (but really we’re not sure wtf happened to that show, although it may have been really good lol) and Electric Love Fest w Erick Morillo as well as Teifschwarz : all on May 27th
We couldn’t possibly end this post without a huge shout out to the biggest and most important outdoor of NM (currently): WATT5! This event has sky rocketed into a very large scale event with nothing but positive results and all the realest hype. Even a few El Paso DJs and party goers are heading out for this one! So here’s to you: the people who put together Watt5 each year, the dancers, DJs, and most of all music fans! Thanks for making things like this happen, its awesome! Going down this weekend, the lineup is pretty crazy and the site looks incredible. Peep the event guide and more info here!
Ok that’s a wrap for today, thanks for checking back and stay tuned for lots more summer fun!
